FROM crunching numbers in the workplace to crunching tackles on the footy field, Rockhampton’s Tim Glasby loves a challenge.

The future looks bright for the popular rugby league player who is in the latter stages of his financial planning degree and works at Kennas Financial Services.

Tim, 22, has enjoyed returning to the training field at a club pushing in a bold new direction.

Capras good to go: coach

JOHN Harbin has been around too long to be easily pleased.

However, even the experienced Capras coach was delighted with his team’s first training session on Monday night.

“I was very pleased with the roll-up and attitude of the players,” he said.

With 45 players attending and a further four or five unable to make the session, Harbin has good reason to be satisfied.

Back to the future

CENTRAL Queensland’s premier rugby league club is going back to the future as it rebuilds under a new committee headed by businessman Steve McCosker.

Part of the way forward will be a likely name change from the Central Comets to the Central Queensland Capras.

McCosker is now chairman of the club’s executive committee, which is in the process of a significant restructure that will incorporate a number of new fresh faces.
