Coachs Report 09/08/08
13th August, 2008
This week we let ourselves and all the loyal Comet supporters down with a game that should have been one to remember. If you were there on Saturday night in the clear but cold conditions you would have seen the Comets not at what we would like to call our best. We had a few hiccups with Liam Anlezark losing consciousness on the field with a stray elbow that has left him having to have the week off.
Mitch Zornig was our best picking up both the Player's Player and Man of the Match awards. This young guy has a big future if he sticks to his guns. Tyron Haynes again impressed with the Broncos making noises about him. This weekend we are away to Redcliffe, the competition giants who are going to be slayed by a rouge Comet. Lastly, I would like to thank the home crowd for the support showed at all our home games. It is good to see the Comets shirts in the crowd.
